He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Knight and Iva Maude Knight (Coghill); his significant other Audrey "Jean" Clark; and his siblings, Ralph, Beulah Knight and Doris Iverson.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Knight, Gail (Rich Sahlfeld) of Prairie Village, KS and Debi (Marty Casey) of Bella Vista, AR; his grandchildren, Kris (Wendy Knight) of Bend, OR and Kylea (Paul Anders) of Wichita, KS; and his great grandchildren, Bryson, Ethan, Brooks Knight and Mara Anders.
Family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Southwind Home, Pratt Historical Museum, or the Pratt Public School Foundation in care of Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt.
