With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Harriett Steppe (Pratt, Kansas), born in Iuka, Kansas, who passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Helsel and Eulah Helsel (Lawrence); her husband Walter Clyde Steppe; her son Danny Eugene Steppe; her siblings, Harold Helsel, Mary Louise Kleiman and Thelma Helsel; and her son-in-law Ronald Taft Prince.
She is survived by: her daughter Clydie Prince of Pratt; her grandchildren, Eric Steppe (Lesa) of Snohomish, David Steppe of Billings, Scott Steppe (Dena) of Billings, Justin Steppe (Christina) of Laurel, Terry Steppe of Billings, Dana Hart of Billings, Susie Prince (Lee Witham) of Denver and Mindy Prince of Kansas City, Missouri; and her daughter-in-law Diana Steppe of Laurel, Montana.. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Iuka Methodist Church in care of Larrison Mortuary.
