He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Francis and Dessie Swisher (Barnes); his wife Emma Jean Swisher (McKay); his brother Carl Dan Swisher; and his great grandchild Jensen Rosenbaum.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Hemphill (Dick) of Pratt and Larry Swisher of Pratt; his sisters-in-law, Donna Mae Swisher of Pratt, Karen McKay of Traverse City and Geneva Gregg (Leon) of Derby; and his grandchildren, Jaime Loesch (Brian) of Nash, Michael Hemphill (Julia) of Byers, Jessica Rosenbaum of Pratt, Jenna Nunez (Hernan) of Davenport and Jacob Swisher of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in care of Larrison Mortuary.
