He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his daughters, Katherine "Kathy" Hitz (Alan) of Pratt and Brenda Boone of Pratt; his grandsons, Colin Hitz (Danae) of Shawnee, Caleb Hitz of Topeka and Jacob Hitz of Trinidad, Colorado; his great grandchild Kasen Hitz; and his sister Judy Modlin (Brad).
