It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Franklin A. Rose of Pratt, Kansas, who passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dirk and Pauline Rose (Bottoms); his wife Theda Allene Rose (Howell); his sons, Steven Rose and David Rose; his daughter-in-law Kay Rose; and his siblings, Violet Preston, Gilbert Rose, Irene McFarland and Ethel Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Karla Hitz (Dennis) of Manhattan and John Rose (Desree) of Mullinville; his sister Meredith Rose of LaCrosse; his grandchildren, Christopher Degenhardt, Tyler Rose (Daree), Michlynn St (Austin), Nicole Cooper (Thomas) and Kaden Hitz; and his nieces, Twyla, Vanessa, Kathy, Peggy, Barbara, Linda, Marla, Anne Marie and Jolynn. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fort Hays State University or Pratt First United Methodist Church in care of Larrison Mortuary.
