Evelyn Charlotte Slater Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2020, at the age of 92, Evelyn Charlotte Slater (Pratt, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Sachs (Ida) and Church; her children, William Slater (Charlotte) and Mary Helen Slater; her grandson Stephen Slater; and her siblings, Gregory, Alfred, Elmer, Lester Sachs and Alice Schroeder.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Slater (Sharon) of Mexico, MO, David Slater (Vicki) of Swiss, MO, Carl Slater (Devona) of Leawood, KS and Karen Bridgeman (John) of Union, MO; her sisters, Margaret Steinmann of Orchard Farm, MO and Mary Jane Green (David) of Alton, IL; and her sister-in-law Darlene Sachs of Montgomery City, MO. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Evelyn Slater to the Our Lady of Lourdes School Scholarship Fund.
