Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Emily Mary Filley (Pratt, Kansas), born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 101, on December 1, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew A. Horwath and Katherine Horwath (Rauscher); her husband Vernon W. Filley, MD; and her siblings, Katherine Sedlacek, Johanna Ban, Josephine Spalek, Joseph Horwath and Rudolph Horwath.
She is survived by: her brothers, Joe and Rudy; her son Warren V. Filley, MD (Karen) of Edmond, OK; her grandchildren, Mark Filley of Austin, TX and Alison Filley of Iowa City, IA; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Pike and Jack Filley of Austin, TX. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Due to the spike in COVID cases a family only service is scheduled for 1:00 p. m., Saturday, December 12, 2020 in Pratt, Kansas.
