He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Willard and Lavenia Willard (Patteson); and his sisters, Clairene McHenry and Julia Mae Hembree. He is survived by: his wife Rayetta Watts; his sons, Danny J. Willard Jr., Darrin Willard, Dane Willard and Doug Walles (Jessica); and his siblings, Wanda Castleberry, Joan Casey and William "Bill" Willard. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
