He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Cale and Clara Gale Mott (Brown); his wife Viola Mott (Cromwell); and his siblings, Eleanor MacClaren, Dorothy Martin and Gene Mott.

He is survived by: his son Jerry Mott (Wanda) of Hiawatha; his sister Mildred Walker of Burlingame; his grandchildren, Melissa Mott of Manhattan and Ryan Mott (Haley) of Kansas City; and his great grandchildren, Clara, Lola and Ruby Mott.

Memorials may be made to Kansas Honor Flights in care of Larrison Mortuary.
