He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis W. Huitt and Hattie Huitt (Trask); his wife Dora Jean Huitt; his sisters, Maxine Nash and Karen Sue; and his great grandchild Curtis Easton Shipman.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Michaud (Pierre) of Corpus Christi, Debbie Kruse (Alan), Cathy Huitt, Randy Huitt Pratt (Janet) and Chris Huitt (Susan) of Pittsburg; and his brother Ellis Huitt, Jr. (Phyllis) of Cullison, Kansas.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
