He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Lindell and Elva Sophie Neifert (McCardell); his brothers-in-law, Richard Lightfoot and Ed Bond; and his nephew Jeff Lightfoot.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Jo Meredith Neifert (Olson) of Pratt, Kansas; his children, Michael Leroy Neifert (Susan) of Pratt, Kansas, Jon Steven Neifert (Verla) of Otley, Iowa, Pamela Christine Roe (Seth) of Kingman, Kansas and Patrick James Neifert (Christy) of Commerce City, Colorado; and his sisters, Patricia Lightfoot of Newberg and Ruth Bond of Nampa, Idaho. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 3 nephews, and 1 niece.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pratt Friends Church or Eudora Baptist Church in care of Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt.
