She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Orn and Opal Viola Houchin (Shellenberger); her husband Claude Freeman; her daughter Sherri Dimit; and her brother Fredrick Dean Houchin.

She is survived by: her sons, Edward "Eddie" Freeman (Janetta) of Pratt, Frederick "Freddie" Freeman of Haviland and Kevin Freeman (Pam) of Pratt; her son-in-law Scott Dimit of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and her grandchildren, Todd Freeman (Sabrina) of Haviland, Tatum Stafford (Mike) of El Dorado, Aubrey Hogan (Scott) of Andover, Branson Freeman of Kansas City, Chadd Dimit (Hope) of Laramie, Madison Hendrickson (Andrew) of Stillwell, Ashley Mudder (Dan) of Casper and Kelby Freeman of Cheney. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
