She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Simmons and Madeline "Mimi" Simmons (Derks); her husband Vernon Heape; and her son Ronald Heape. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ryan Heape (Melissa) of Winter Garden, Florida, Allison Heape of Taylor and Jenna Chicharro (Sarah) of Medford, Oregon; her great grandchild Margaux Heape; and her daughter-in-law Rose Heape. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
