We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2020, at the age of 70, Barbara Mae Martin (Pratt, Kansas), born in Hardtner, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas F. Smith and Elsie Smith (Sleeper); her sister Joyce Carruth; and her granddaughter Katelyn Martin. She is survived by: her husband Jay Allen Martin; her children, Doug Martin (Corey Routh) of Beaverton, Oregon, Jayme Roach (Dean) of Pratt and Terisa Martin of Pratt; her sisters, Lynn Brown of Hutchinson and Carol Williams of Helena, Montana; her granddaughters, Britney Woody of Gwangju, Allyssa Martin of Preston, Shei Smiley of Stafford and Logan Martin of Kansas City, Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Allen Martin, Jasper Evans and Carmen Aguilar.

Memorials may be made to First Southern Baptist Church or Pratt Area Humane Society in care of Larrison Mortuary.

“I am so grateful to have known Barb(Mama Martin). Our relationship started out a little rough but turned into a special one. She and I would text from time to time and razz each other about KU vs OU basketball games. Me being an OU fan I was normally on the wrong side of that razzing:). Always in good fun! I remember her for being a hard and dedicated worker. You had to respect that about her. I know I did. But most importantly, she loved her family. Prayers to the Martin family. S.Woody”
