He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Samuel and Shirley Joan Wagner (Winters); his wife Rosemary Henige; his stepchildren, Tristan, Clarissa and John; his close friend Carol Stevenson; his grandchildren, Rylie, Kathryn, Karias, Karianna, Raegan and Rozlyn; and also, Timothy and Sarah (Rosemary). He was also cherished by three children, two brothers, his great aunt and uncle, two nieces.
