She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Sanford and Doris Sanford; her brother Robert "Sonny" Sanford; her son Jeffrey; and her sister Myrna Ford (Sanford).

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice (https://www.goodshepherdhospice.com) and the Alzheimer's Association Heart of America Chapter.
