She was predeceased by: her parents, Jane Compton and Stan Compton; her siblings, Joan Thompson (Compton), Bob Compton, Peggy Schrick (Compton), Patricia Patterson (Compton) and Beth Doleshal (Compton); her husband Jack Murphy; her sister-in-law Marlene Murphy; and her pets, Willy and Katie.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Murphy (Megan), Diane Murphy (Brian) and Dennis Murphy (Dee); her stepgrandchildren, Kyle Ekern (Ashley), Ryan Murphy (Lia), Clara Sisay (David), Riley Hall (Bryant), Olivia Murphy (James), Thomas Murphy (Jade) and Jason Magaña; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Octavia, Bryson and Remi; and her siblings, Rita Cunningham (Danny), Michael Compton (Ann), Terri Compton Baugh, Barbara Compton, Cathy Ostermeyer (Dave) and Geri Compton (Dan Dannevik).
