He was predeceased by: his sister Sharon K. Austin. He is survived by: his children, William R. Fortney, Debbie Fortney (Warren Gould), Tammy Hart (John Hart) and Cindy Fortney; his sister Carolyn Fortney; his sister-in-law Sharon Phenicie; his grandchildren, Shawn, Cody and Lacy; and his great grandchildren, Josh and Damien. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
