It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Anne Watson (Prairie Village, Kansas), born in Brunswick, Missouri, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hunt (Bill) and Christine Hunt (Edwards); her husband Russell; her parents-in-law, Paul and Gladys Watson; and her brother-in-law Ken Jameson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sigrid Rich (Micheal) of Overland Park and Felicity Slemp (Kevin) of Berea; her grandchildren, Eliana Slemp and Aiden Slemp; her sister-in-law Mary Jameson; and her nieces, Michelle Smith (Greg) of Lee's Summit and Melissa Neis of Kansas City.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 9:30 AM and at 10:30 AM at the Hope Community Church (8200 State Line Rd, Prairie Village, KS 66208). A burial was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Asbury Cemetery.
