Though Evalyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Evalyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Kaminski (Grabowski) and Alvin Kaminski; her brothers, Elmer, Harry and Robert Kaminski; her former husband John Velder; her son-in-law Virgil Johnson; and her grandson Lance King.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Johnson, Michael Velder, Jim Velder (Marion) and Lily Pilsl (Paul). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
