He was predeceased by: his wife Karen; his brother Richard Porter; and his mother Lillian Porter. He is survived by: his children, Debra Gill (George), David Porter (Carol) and Barbra Hill (Ron); and his grandchildren, Rachel, Lindsay Gill, Sophia, Joseph Porter, Alec and Jaden Hill.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Louis Memorial Chapel (6830 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO 64131). A shiva was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the Home of Carol and David Porter (11504 Juniper Dr, Leawood, KS 66211).
