He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Samuelson and Lydia Samuelson. He is survived by: his wife Ruby; his daughter Laurie Johnson (Rick); and his granddaughters, Melinda and Melissa Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
