He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claus August Freberg and Elsie Minnie Graver Freberg; his son Scout; his grandfather Don; his wife Beverley; his son Eric Claus; his daughter-in-law Tarra LeAnn; his grandchildren, Dane Christian, Dylan Robert, Drew Claus and Lauren Emily of Overland Park, KS; his son Christian Emerson; his daughter-in-law Beverly Christian; his granddaughter Hardin Beverly (Emerson Campbell); his brothers, Eldon Lloyd Freberg (Mary Frances) and Robert Dale Freberg (Mary Louise); his nieces, Mary Ellen Hulstein (Randy), Joan Marie Smith (Terry) and Kathleen Ann Young (Mike) of Conway, AR.; and his nephew Thomas Christian Freberg (Lora) of Omaha, NE.
