He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Schaeffer and Charlotte Liebbe; and his siblings, Paul Schaeffer and Charlotte Frederick. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Brown; his sons, Charles Todd Schaeffer and Garrett Ward Schaeffer; and his former wife Joanne Schaeffer. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and several nephews.
