With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan E. Shirling of Prairie Village, Kansas, born in Concordia, Kansas, who passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Parker Shirling and Ruth Shirling; and his wife Barbara DeAnn Shirling. He is survived by: his sister Sue Shirling-Fitzgerald; his sons, Eric Shirling, Chris Shirling, Curt Shirling and Jeremy Shirling; and his grandchildren, Andrew Shirling, Meghan Shirling and Parker Shirling.
