He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Tien and Ann Tien (Prinsen); his wife Patricia Tien (Shellito); and his father-in-law Ronald Shellito (Virginia). He is survived by: his sons, Trevor Tien (Whitney) of Phillipsburg and Brady Tien (Jessie) of Topeka; his grandson Rhett Tien; his mother-in-law Connie Rice (Doug) of Smith Center; and his brothers, Curtis Tien (Heidi) of Dry Ridge, KY, Steven Tien of Hill City and Kent Tien (Ashlee) of Prairie View. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
