She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Brown of Prairie View; her brothers, Norman Leydig (Queenie) and Dale Leydig; her son-in-law Dale Brooks; her siblings-in-law, Dale Brown and Mae Rupke (Mel); and her great grandchild Max Dale Clark.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Brown (Verda) of Prairie View, Marilyn Brooks of Hays, Bill Brown (Nancy) of Manhattan and Rhonda Jacques of Wamego, KS; her siblings, Sam Leydig (Belva) of Prairie View and Verlee Roark of Cassville; and her sisters-in-law, Lois Leydig of Council Grove and Grace Van Rokel of Phillipsburg. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
