He was predeceased by: his father Philip King; and his stepson Darrin Ellisor. He is survived by: his mother Novella King of Ottawa; his stepson David Ellisor of Texas; and his siblings, Joe King of Pomona, Tomas King (Linda) of Pomona and Karla King of Ottawa. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
