She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Ecord and Frances Ecord (Tinsley); her husband Daryl Trendel; her sisters, Jessie Lickteig, Joan Geer, Eva Stone, Lois Ecord and Jeannie Rossman; and her in-laws, George and Bertha Trendel.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Trendel (Kristin) of Lawrence, Kevin Trendel of Hurst and Lucas Trendel (Nicole) of Olathe; her grandchildren, Ella Trendel, Tessa and Colin Trendel; and her siblings, Richard Ecord (Linda), Pattie Fine (Dean) of Pomona and Ronald Ecord (Vicki) of Monte Vista, Colorado.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dengel & Son Mortuary - Crematory (235 S Hickory St, Ottawa, KS 66067). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Greenwood Community Center (2705 Florida Rd, Ottawa, KS 66067).
