We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2020, at the age of 87, Roberta F. Shepherd of Pomona, Kansas, born in Ottawa, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Allen and Edith Pearl Reed (Griffin); and her siblings, Elizabeth Pearl Slankard, Eldon Kenneth Reed, Terry Gene Reed and Donald Joe Reed.
She is survived by: her husband Cloice; her daughters, Wanda Sue Heins (Dan) of Pomona, Terri Hower of Ottawa, Carolyn Shepherd of Pomona and Betty Greer of Pomona; and her grandchildren, Danielle Watts (Tyler), Melissa Walker (Josh), Corey Hower, Zach Brown, Gene Greer (Kayla) and Heather Hendershot (Cody). She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Greenwood Baptist Church c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, KS 66067.
