He was predeceased by: his parents, John Baker and Laura Jean Baker; his niece Karen Webb; his stepfather Max Floyd; and his brother-in-law Grant Ackerman.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Parks; his sons, John Baker and Adrian (Danielle); his sisters, Carol Webb (Marvin) of Bettendorf, IA and Marilyn Resner (Wally) of Ottawa, KS; his siblings-in-law, Sandi Ackerman of Leavenworth, KS and Tim Parks (Eileen); and his nieces and nephews, Kathryn Naill, Ami Jenkins, Beth Hazels, Jana Rideout, Jennie Mellor, Sara Rickert, Melanie Bethea, Brian Webb and Kevin McCurdy.
The family suggests memorial contributions to World Wildlife Federation for Save the Elephants or Prairie Paws, Ottawa, Kansas in care of Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O. Box 14, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
