She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Purviance and Lela McCay Purviance; her spouse J. D. Cox; her children, Randy Cox and Connie Perry; and her grandsons, Bryan and Jay.
She is survived by: her son Gary Cox; and her grandchildren, Brandy, Jimmy and Joey. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Schneider Funeral Home Mound City Chapel (319 W Chestnut St, Mound City, KS 66056). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trading Post Cemetery (15710 N 4th St, Pleasanton, KS 66075).
