He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Maus; his son Jacob Maus; and his stepfather Ross Cossins. He is survived by: his mother Lovell Vogt Maus; his wife Linda Hayes; his daughters, Jessica Barningham, Savannah Martin, Harley Kapp and Aurora Maus; his sisters, Rashell Sabaugh and Debbie Dehmer; and his grandchildren, Saloan, Skeeter, Parker, Todd, Junebug and Sabrina.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Highpoint Events & Suites (9235 Wattles Rd, Pleasanton, KS 66075). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
