He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Lester Simmons, Brenda Miller and Cheryl Peters; and his stepchildren, Thomas Long, Daniel Long, Rebecca Crossana and Heather Smith. He is also survived by five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
