He is survived by: his parents, Novel Staton and Bud Staton; his spouse Lucy Coffel; his daughter Brenda Staton; his brothers, Pete, Milford, Johnny and Eugene; his children, Marilyn Peak, Reva Robinson, Larry Ellis, Debra Ellis and Eddy Staton; his brother Buddy Staton; and also, Maude Bright Staton and Sharon. He is also survived by grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
