He is survived by: his wife Gloria Chard (Stalnaker) of Hays; his children, Gary Chard (Sandra) of Zurich, KS, Randy Chard (Lynnie) of Palco, KS, Dave Chard (Sally) of Wichita, KS, Rodney Chard (Carrie) of Plainville and Jan Ward of Lenexa, KS; his sister Nita Johnston (Merrill) of Stockton; and his grandchildren, Cynthia Finnesy, Jeremy Chard, Chanelle Chard, Billie Covington, Shawna Scates, Andrea McDonald, Angela DeQuasey, Jay Chard, Bradey Chard, Noah Chard, Chandler Yost, Dakota Yost, Christian Chard and Lillian Ward.
