He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Owen and Helen Louise Blackwell (Blevins); his brother Nathaniel Blackwell, Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Diane Richter and Norm Steepe; and his nephew Steve Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Louise Fabrizius; his daughters, Rhonda Dopita (John) of Hays, KS and Nicole Pierson (Jerrod) of Damar, KS; his siblings, James Williams (Jill) of Oklahoma City, OK, Linda Jackson of New Braunfels, TX and Robert Richter of Moore, OK; his grandsons, Nicholas, Noah, Isaac, Eli, Luke and Zachary; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Claire and Luca. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (27005 283 Hwy, WaKeeney, KS 67672). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
