We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2020, at the age of 86, Robert J. Rostocil (Plainville, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Rostocil and Bessie Rostocil (Bartos); his wife Donna Rae Rostocil; and his siblings, Leona Rostocil and Walter Rostocil.

He is survived by: his former wife Marilyn Wasinger (Fury); his children, Cyd McElhaney Blais (Rob) of Anadarko, OK, Lynne VanDyke of Zurich, KS and Debbie Cenedese of Springfield, MO; and his grandchildren, Evan McElhaney, Anna Bentley, Ben McElhaney and Nicole Jennings. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church and may be sent in care of Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, 320 SW 2nd St, Plainville, KS 67663.

Through the years, we would call each other--he was 6 months older than I was and we'd laugh about me catching up to his age. I always enjoyed spending time with him as kids and talking on the phone the past few years. He was a kind, sweet man and I loved him both as family and friend. Prayers and condolences to his family.
