She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Nickles and Gladys Nickles (Buffington); her husband James Simon; her son Mike Simon (Marilyn); and her brothers, Wayne and Roland Nickles.
She is survived by: her children, Jolene McElroy (Rod) of Wheelersburg, OH and Stanley Simon (Maria) of Plainville; her grandchildren, Chad Simon (Aimee), Phil Simon, Mark Simon (Christine), Andy Simon, Chris McElroy (Charlotte), Casey McElroy (Amy) and Karen McElroy; and her great grandchildren, Sarena Allie, Gabby McElroy, Sage Simon, Alexie Simon and Carter Simon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
