She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Balthazor and Rosa Balthazor (Morin); her husband Fred Berland, Jr.; her children, Rev. Mark Berland, Joan Louis Berland and Carol Slingsby; her siblings, Lawrence Balthazor, Gilbert Balthazor, Gladys George, Irma Kirkpatrick (Cecilia) and Louise (Virginia); her son-in-law Robert Mason; her granddaughter Janelle Slingsby; and her great grandchild Morgan Everett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kay Basgall (Chris) of Owosso, MI, Ann Zwink (Timothy) of Piedmont, OK, Mary Everett (Gary) of Wilson, KS, Lois Mason of Ellis, KS and Rebecca Cobb (George) of Peoria, AZ; her sisters, Joyce Wasinger and Opal Hochandadel; her son-in-law Walt Slingsby of Clay Center, KS; and her grandchildren, Paul, Matthew, Jacob Basgall, Alex, Jason Zwink, Shon, Adam, Patrick Slingsby, Kenny, Eric, Lucas, Rachel Everett, Courtney Espinoza, Emma Warner and Martin Cobb. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
