He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl P. Benedick and Emma I. Benedick (Hrabe); and his grandson Acetin Benedick. He is survived by: his wife Janice K. Schmidt; his children, Phillip Benedick (Francie), Lori Benedick (Casey Lee Sharp), Wayne Benedick (Misty Record) and Andrew Benedick (Stacy Beiker); his grandchildren, Aaron, Caleb (Naomi), Kelsey (Byron Bittel), Kristen Wyatt, Dalton Benedick, Darion (Tanner Mitchell), Ethan (Hannah Rempe), Jillian, Boden Podrybau, Starzyn Sharp, Mercedes, Keelea (Taylor Speers), Levi Paul, Dodge, Phoenix Benedick, Taryn and Avryn Beiker; and his children, Kaytlynn Butler, Rowen, Brevyn, Haezin, Sarah, Riven Wyatt, Khloe Tweedy, Braylon, Chasey Bittel, Kelsie St. Clair and Weston Mitchell.
