It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Burkholder (Plainville, Kansas), born in Nederland, Colorado, who passed away on August 2, 2018, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaiah Sherratt and Clara Sherratt; her husband Bob Burkholder; her siblings, Harry Sherratt, William Sherratt and Beverly Sherratt; and her son Stephen Sherratt Burkholder.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Leon Burkholder (Michael) of Hays, Bruce Lee Burkholder of Hays and Linda S. Ruder of Hays. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and seventeen great-great-grandchildren.
