He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bethel and Rose Bethel; and his siblings, Adella Cummings, Jim Bethel, Bessie Bethel, Marion Bethel, Richard Bethel, Delbert Bethel, Leroy Bethel, Chuck Bethel, Clarence Peters and Kenneth Bethel.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his sons, Greg Bethel (Jennifer) of Schoenchen, KS, Scott Bethel (K'Ann) of Palco, KS, David Bethel of Plainville, KS and Jason Bethel (Jamie) of Plainville, KS; and his sister Alice Betten of Iowa. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Don Bethel Memorial Fund to be allocated by the family at a later time.
