It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monica Ray Cox of Plains, Kansas, born in Guymon, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her stepfather J. B. Esser; her father Jimmy Ray Ketcherside; her brother Jimmy Ray Ketcherside (Jimbo); her grandparents, Robert C. Johnson, Joe and Mary Ketcherside; her uncle Randy Johnson; and her aunt Mary Jo Ketcherside.
She is survived by: her mother Donna Ketcherside (Johnson) of Plains; her close friend Razzy Mae; her sons, Logan of Plains, Kansas, Brayden of Plains, Kansas and Kyler Cox of Plains, Kansas; her brother Chad Esser of Park City, Kansas; her grandmother Patricia Ann Johnson of Guymon; and her aunts and uncles, Robbie Johnson (Kelly) of Goodwell, JB (Darlene Ketcherside), Ronnie Ketcherside of Kiowa, Oklahoma, Charlotte Cesarano of Guymon and Nancy Johnson of Guymon. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family would welcome memorials to the National Huntington's Society in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade, Kansas.
