With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry D. Winfrey of Plains, Kansas, who passed away on May 12, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Winfrey and Alice Louise Winfrey (Shuman); and his siblings, Darrel Winfrey and Joy Brackey. He is survived by: his wife Mickey Fink; his children, Dale Winfrey (Nina) and Tina Garinger; his grandchildren, Wesley Winfrey, Emme Huber, Lindsay Garinger, Tucker Heaton, Brandon Winfrey (Kaylie) and Whitney Blevins (Dustin); his great grandchildren, Haisley, Kashlyn, Audrey and Deacon; and his siblings, Gordon, James and Carol Palmer.
The family would welcome memorials to the Plains United Methodist Church for the children's church camp in care of the funeral home.
