It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Josephine E. Amerin of Plains, Kansas, who passed away on November 14, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gertner and Anna Gertner (Ertle); her husband Edward Amerin; her children, Paul Amerin, Edward Amerin, Jr., Leonard Amerin and Mary Joan Amerin; and her siblings, John Gertner, Jr., David Gertner, Gabriel Gertner, Marcus Gertner, Donald Gertner, Anna Mary Bretz and Virginia Amerin.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Amerin (Leigh Ann) of Plains, Ray Amerin (Jenny) of Plains, Gerald Amerin of Plains, Robert Amerin (Caralee) of Plains, Mary Rhoads of Winter Park, JoAnn Wells (Larry) of Fowler, Dolores Amerin of Plains and Margaret Renteria (Jesse) of Clovis; her daughter-in-law Mary Amerin of Plains; and her siblings, Lawrence Gertner, Clarence Gertner, Leonette Gertner, Margaret Clapham and Clara Marie. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren; and forty-eight great-grandchildren.
The family would welcome memorials to St. Patrick's Catholic Church in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.
