It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd R. Downs (Plains, Kansas), born in Syracuse, Kansas, who passed away on September 15, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Downs and Inez Downs (Servaes); his wife Evelyn Belle Johnson; and his siblings, Leil Roland Downs and Elsie Fuller.

He is survived by: his siblings, Ira Downs of El Reno, Wallace Downs of Holly, Colorado and Virginia Harrington of Elk Falls, Kansas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
