She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy "Bud" Prettyman and Juanita Prettyman (Lakey); her husband Donald Perkins; her brothers, Arthur Prettyman and Clem Prettyman; and her son-in-law Tim Hodgson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Juanita Hodgson of Columbus, KS, Rebecca Streeter (Jim) of Garner, KS and Roanda Smith (Ron) of Osawatomie, KS; and her brother Jerry Prettyman (Shelia) of Sellersburg, IN. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Brenner Mortuary (114 E 4th St, Pittsburg, KS 66762). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Pawprints on the Heartland, and left in care of the funeral home.
