He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Smith and Helen Moody Smith; and his grandparents, Gene and Helen Moody. He is survived by: his wife Karen Wilson of Fort Scott; his children, Scott Smith (Gabriel Wiggins) of Albuquerque, NM and Candice Bland (Kyle); and his grandchildren, Jacob, Jeremey Smith and Camille Bland.
