It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Wilbert of Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Rose and Irene Rose (Lucietta); and her brother Jackie Rose. She is survived by: her daughter Jami Patterson of Pittsburg, KS; her grandchildren, Jordan (Robby Muter) of Girard, KS, Jaden (Madison Patterson) of Lawrence, KS, Jaycee Patterson of Pittsburg, KS and Jesse Patterson of Pittsburg, KS; her great grandchildren, Rhett of Girard, KS, Dayton of Girard, KS and Jimi Muter of Girard, KS; her brother Gary; and her siblings-in-law, Wisha Rose of Montgomery, TX, Bill, Vicki Wilbert of Pittsburg, KS and Marilyn Rose of Mindenmines, MO. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (109 E 9th St, Pittsburg, KS 66762). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
